Craig Carson is a former music teacher and pK – 8 principal. As assistant superintendent, he is a staff developer with duties in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. He is often found doing model lessons and working with students K – 12.

Carson helped turn around a high poverty district in southwest Missouri. He speaks nationally on poverty, student engagement, and literacy. He approaches topics on the practitioner level with the goal of participants’ relevant transfer.
